Manufacturers and retailers from time to time offer rebates on certain products and models. Some e-tailers (web stores) offer both manufacturer as well as store exclusive rebates.

In addition to manufacturer and retailer rebates, many state and local utilities will offer additional rebates when you purchase energy efficient EnergyStar models or replace an existing electric cooking appliance, dryer, water heater or furnace, with a gas model. Before you go shopping, call your local utilities company and ask if any of these energy rebates are available in your area and which products are covered.
